Thanksgiving Gizzada Pie: SOLD OUT
Happy Thanksgiving! We want to take the time to give thanks for you. Without you we would not continue to thrive as a business and family.
So, to show our appreciation, we bring to you our delicious Gizzada Pie. This pie is derived from the Gizzada, which is one of our “best seller.” We added a few extra touches to the ingredients and design to satisfy your taste buds for the holiday.
Our pre-orders are SOLD OUT, but who cares, there's still time to enjoy a pie.
Due to covid and the holiday rush, current orders may be delayed.
Nov Best Seller: Sweet Potato Pudding
The Sweet Potato Pudding is a traditional Jamaican pastry. Some call it "hell a bottom, hell a top & hallelujah in the middle." This is because we would have a wood/coal fire made at the bottom, have a sheet of zink with said wood/coal fire on top of the pudding and the pudding would be the hallelujah in the middle because it is so delicious. This method allowed the pudding to be cooked thoroughly.
The Name Behind Ditty Island Delights
In loving memory of my late mom, Ditty!
My mom, Ditty died from cancer in 2016. Her dream was for us to start a Jamaican pastry business together. We didn't get to do that but today I get to keep her name alive!
A percentage of profits will go towards funding a non-profit called The Ditty Cancer Foundation to aid families that are victims of cancer.
